Preparing for birth is not just about learning what will happen — it’s about feeling safe, confident, and supported in your body and your choices.
My birth preparation courses take place at my Maternity Studio in Munich Schwabing and are designed especially for English-speaking families who want to understand birth, feel calm approaching labor, and build trust in their own strength.
As a certified birth doula, I hold warm, practical and deeply supportive classes where knowledge and emotional preparation go hand in hand.
Birth Preparation Course Details

– One day class (6h, including breaks)

Price: 230€ (birthing parent joins for free, the partner fee of €230 applies to all families, regardless of insurance provider or policy)

I recommend to attend the birth preparation class between pregnancy week 28 and week 38.
Please note: Since I’m an active birth doula, I’m sometimes called to a birth at short notice. If that happens, I may need to reschedule a class. I will do my best to communicate any changes promptly. If the alternative date does not fit your schedule, I will make sure to accommodate your booking in one of the other classes. Is the course covered by my insurance?
Please note that I am an internationally certified labor and birth doula (certified by DID e.v.) The class is offered by me in my role as a doula and childbirth educator, and I am not an affiliated (contracted) midwife, reimbursement decisions are made directly by the insurance provider and depend on their specific policies.
To keep this offering fair and accessible, the partner fee of €230 applies to all families, regardless of insurance provider or policy.
How much do we need to pay?
The birthing partner attends the class for free, the fee of 230€ applies for the partner. A private invoice may be issued anytime.
Will we receive a refund from our health insurance for the course fee?
You receive a private invoice for the partner fee of 230€ and a confirmation of participation upon request. Reimbursement decisions on this partner fee are made directly by the insurance company and can vary. If you’d like more detail, check here or contact your health insurance directly.
